Every blogger needs tools and resources in order to produce a good quality blog. Especially if you are using your blog an entrepreneur to generate income. So be sure to take notes and I hope these tools will help you on your way to success.
First of all....you need a blogging platform !!
To start blogging you will need a blogging platform. There are a couple of them out there for you to grab. The most used ones are 1-WordPress , 2-Blogger and 3-Wix. Be aware that there is a difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org being that WordPress.com is a blog hosting service and WordPress.org is an open source software where you can build your website or blog on your own.
Next you will need a host !!
A host is nothing more than a service that allows you to post a website or web page onto the Internet so when people want to view your website by typing your website name in the browser. I suggest you google for the most popular hosting services in your country. Ask your social media connections for recommendations. Make sure it all fits your budget. Some well known hosting services are 4-GoDaddy,5-Namecheap and 6-Bluehost
Now let's start tracking !!
To keep count of how many people are visiting your site on a daily basis you will need some kind of tracking. When using WordPress you will find different kinds of tracking plugins to use. You can also use the WordPress app.But most people will recommend you using tracking software like 7-Google Analytics or 8-Statcounter.These are perfect tools for you to keep track of your visitors.
Another important subject beginner bloggers often forget about is SEO & keyword research. I highly recommend YOAST SEOplugin when using WordPress as a blogging platform. For more info checkSEO WIKI
Now for some productivity and management tools !!
There are a lot of tools these days to help you become more productive in time management. Tools like 9-Evernoteand 10-Wunderlist are just 2 to name a few. Feel free to check them out and see if they can help you manage your tasks. Keep it simple and start by using your smartphone calendar to schedule tasks. When you get used to the habit of planning you may switch over to some more advanced apps.
My final 3 tools .... for now !!
These last tools are very important tools if you want to keep in touch with your readers. Maybe you want to share other important messages with them you did not post in a blog. Or maybe you want to keep them up to date when posting new content on your website. In that case you will need an Email service tool. Tools like 11-Aweber, 12-Getresponse and 13-MailChimp.
I hope this blog has been helpful for you. These are just a few tools out there to help you become more productive and efficient. Of course there are many more tools and resources out there for grabs. But in my opinion you are ready to start with only these 13 tools and resources. I wish you all the best in your journey to become a blogger. Till next blog.....
