In my last blog I shared with you 2 useful tips on how to grow your email list. Well today I will share 2 more tips with you. Growing your email list isn't that difficult, as long as you know what you are doing. Off course there are many more ways to grow your email list. I'm just sharing the ones that are the easiest in my opinion.
Off course the best way so far to build your email list is by having great content to share with your audience. The key is to always try to produce exceptional content for your readers so they can improve. So providing stunning content that solves real problems true your blog is the ultimate way to speed up building your list.
By providing quality content you attract readers to your blog and you will be inspiring current readers to stick around. There are a few things you can do to improve your writing. For example, make it an easy document to scan. By this I don’t mean scan with a printer or copier. I literally mean scan with your eyes. Check out this blog where they explain exactly what I mean.
By writing powerful headlines you will be attracting visitors to click and read further. I’ll be explaining more on how to write headlines that work in another blog. So make sure to follow my blog to find out more on this topic. Another way to keep growing your list i by adding new articles on a regular.
Now I know some people say that you have to write every day in order to grow your blog. My personal opinion…mmm….well nope. Okay, I’ll say this. When starting a blog it might be a good idea to write a blog everyday for the first two weeks or so just to get used to the typing and finding content to write about. After that , choose whatever suits you. It’s your blog after all. I decided for example to blog and post twice a week.
The most important thing is to write content you believe in and that you want your readers to read. Start by sharing your articles true your social media channels, friends and family and ask them to share. That’s going to help you and you’ll be of with a good start.
Have multiple signup forms
Although I’m not a fan of this method, it seems to work pretty good. Some bloggers swear with this tactic. Some even say that this was their number one strategy which helped them grow their list. This is something you need to test out for yourself to see whether you like it or not. Or if you choose results over appearance. Again….it’s your blog.
If you choose this tactic, there are some things you need to keep in mind in order for it to work. When it comes to using multiple signup forms, it comes down on where to place them. If you choose this option you need to place at least five signup forms on you’r blogpage.
Places to consider are:
- Header or footer
- at the end of each post
- as a pop-up for new blog post visitors
There are several widgets you can use to get the results you want. there will be a time when you will find that some forms just work better and are more effective than others. But leave them to run for at least 3 to 4 months before you decide to remove them. Make sure you only remove the low performance forms and focus to optimize the once that do work.
